Not calling names Gill but merely replying to your post. If that is what you believe as a consequence of a minority outside St Paul's who chose to boo then it seems pretty naive to me.

Tell me do you believe all royalists will be Tory supporters?
Do you believe all those who booed were representative of all royalists?

I repeat the only people who will determine Boris's fate will be the members of parliament of his party. Flag waving royalists who boo will be irrelevant in this process. This has nothing to do with burying heads in the sand or defending the indefensible. I don't defend Boris and one day he will go. That depends on his MPs but it is more likely the outcome of the bye elections and feedback from the constituencies will play a greater role in his dismissal than the jeering of the crowd outside St Paul's.

Security would have determined the one single entrance but of course I have no idea if an invitation was extended to them albeit every other Royal is reported as having received one. Slightly sobering to think that with the ages of the various future monarchs and me I'm unlikely to see another Royal Jubilee in my lifetime.

And if Nadine Dories gets her way it'll be the last show like that unless she assumes Netflix will organise the next one. Though actually she's so thick she probably doesn't realise the whole thing was a BBC production.
