Changes to Covid Testing

#1

Post by david63 »

P&O have updated their Covid testing requirements and now testing is only "highly recommend" and not mandatory.
All holidays from 6 September 2022

There are some changes to our vaccination policy, and in addition self-testing prior to travel has changed from ‘mandatory’ to ‘highly recommended’ for vaccinated guests on the majority of P&O Cruises holidays.
Some cruises have enhanced testing requirements due to the length of cruise, ports of call, or the ship’s onward destination. Only guests sailing on these longer, or more complex itineraries, will be required to have an observed or in-person lateral flow/antigen test and provide a fit-to-travel certificate before departure.

After the last recommended way for tests, this takes the dishonesty factor out of pre boarding.
We await to see what happens with Covid this winter, hopefully it's not as bad as before.
Don't worry, be happy
