The Gin is distilled in the first-ever cruise ship distillery at sea on P&O’s Iona

"Onboard Iona, there is a controlled amount of Marabelle Gin that is distilled each day by P&O Cruises‘ very own gin specialist. The way you will be able to tell if the gin is distilled onboard is if the bottle has a gold seal on it then you’ll know it was distilled on Iona inside Anderson’s Bar & Library in the very first distillery at sea.
The custom-made still gin distillery onboard Iona is named Columba, after the person who found the Abbey on the island of Iona in the sixth century, this is where Marabelle Gin’s maiden distillation took place."
