For me I try to donate UK charities only.....not gonna donate my hard earned money to big charities like Oxfam, Unicef or Water Aid that pay their directors huge amounts of money and so much of their work is abroad......make 3 exceptions Alzheimers & Cancer Research & Shelter because they help people in the Uk
It's charities like the one mentioned above that I am more than happy to donate to when I find out about them because you can almost be sure that their administrative costs are going to be much less than those other big charities in their impressive high rise HQs

Hi Pompey, I fall in line with your way of thinking and only donate to smaller charities, that being said I can’t remember donating anything these past few years.

No, it's a charity boat I volunteer with as skipper or crew. Does free day trips for children with either physical disabilities or learning difficulties. But also paid private party trips to fund the charitable work.

You'll need to submit your birth certificate. And a cheque.

Merv, no names, but some people go no holiday with a wad of compo forms. Are you willing to take that risk.

No problem Merv, you watch my back and I'll watch yours. You know what these Essex boys. Damm, slip of the finger, you know what some people are like, caution is required.
Don't worry, be happy
