Re: Crumbs!
As a biscuit hater, I can't tell you if they're any good but you will find, double choc chip, choc chip and vanilla, choc chip and orange and the very occasional ginger biscuit.

Plenty of chat about it on the Biskwit thread Anne:
Biscuits
I think the new ones are yummy, but they don't travel too well !!

Ah yes - found the Biskwit thread and most informative it is. I like the sound of the new biccies - will ask my steward to hunt down the rare ginger ones.

I ate my last pack at lunchtime today...choc chip and orange. They definitely don't travel well as the two biscuits had become 5 small ones but they still tasted good!

Crumbs... Indeed!
Those fiendish boffins at the P&O Biscuit Division have inserted a biskwit self destruct mechanism designed to operate as soon as they're smuggled off the ship. Bummer! Don't they know how much they are enjoyed as elevensies up and down the Country?!

With careful conservation, mine usually las for 4-6 weeks after the cruise. In fact, the biscuits are the only reason why I bother to go on a P&O cruise nowadays!

I don't like the new biscuits at all. We were joking with our cabin steawrd who told us not as many people seem to be taking them home.
I say bring back the priory crumbles.

They taste alright but on a recent trip on Azura all the biscuits in the cabin were already in pieces before I even thought of liberating them ! Clearly a self-destruct mechanism to stop Romig taking a suitcasefull home !

Re: Crumbs!
I'd leave the tupperware box at home if I were you as we didn't think they were that good, we ate a couple of packets between us on a 14 night cruise & didn't bother bringing any home ... I'll bet P&O are saving £££'s by changing themCapt Black wrote:Onboard again in less than 2 weeks now. Tupperware box packed for biscuit smuggling!

Re: Crumbs!
We had the new ones on our Azura cruise in March and we thought they were dreadful. Hardly any of them were whole - one packet was so broken it was like crumbs. They certainly don't travel well. They are very thin and I suppose that's why they break easily. Honestly I think we had one packet over 21 nights that was whole. In fact we gave up in the end. My husband likes a biscuit with his early morning tea and I bought some shortbreads from the shop in the end. I think they're absolutely useless! Did it spoil my cruise - not a jot! Just in case anyone thinks I'm moaning! Just an observation about the new ones as compared to the old ones - I would guess they are cheaper but that's just my thought.

Re: Crumbs!
Agree Carole, they taste fine but finding a whole one on Azura was nigh on impossible !
Must be some serial biscuit abuse going on around Azura because on Aurora at Christmas we hardly came across any broken ones (until we got them home, that is !!)
