While in port at Heraklion we were moored next to an old friend, Adonia.

We had a very nice lunch on Adonia and were ready to book and the monkeys sold her!

Argh, that’s what it was before she became Azamara.

Brings back memories. Some I’m still having therapy for.

We had three lovely cruises on her. We had what must be the largest cabin we've ever had, an aft suite which had two separate rooms. The number of wardrobes meant that I would have had to go on a very large shopping spree in order to fill them. John was very relieved that our cruise didn't go anywhere near any shopping venues! Now when I look at that same suite on what is now called Pursuit, no way could I afford it. It's been beautifully modernised but the price! We went on Adonia through the Kiel Canal, I don't think any P&O ship can now go through the canal, they're all too large. The library on Adonia with its beautiful glass ceiling was amazing. She is such a beautiful ship. We too had a cruise booked on her when P&O went and sold her, so near to our cruise date that we scrambled to find a cruise, to the Caribbean, for the dates we had booked.

It’s all in the past Stephen… whilst it was a traumatic experience I just want you to know that I’ve forgiven you. :D
