Hi,

New to cruising and looking to do a cruise in March to Looking for suggestions for things to do in Nassau, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Barbados. Especially after beaches and history.

St Maarten is the easiest. Lovely beach in walking distance, about 20minutes. Otherwise it’s not much to take a taxi or the water taxi. Well worth browsing some live web cams for this. There is excellent taxi shuttles in Barbados and prices are displayed.
Nassau gets very busy so if you do venture independently allow plenty of time for congestion around the port. We haven’t been to St Thomas so can’t help on that one.

Nassau straw market can get a bit crowded when cruise ships arrive, be ready for vendors trying to get you into their shop, be ready for things to be a bit on the pricey side. If you go to Atlantis by taxi take a couple of dollars with you as the bridge toll is not included in the taxi fare.
Service when stopping to eat can sometimes be very slow. Stay well away from the neighborhood " Over the Hill " not for tourists
