If we had no family, then I fancy the Carib.
But, hosting a full couple of dining room tables, I'm sure we will have a great Christms at home.
Don't worry, be happy

There's a great radio programme you can listen to between 10 and 1 while you cook the lunch.

You could do both Ray if you joined us on Iona's Caribbean cruise on Jan 3rd.

I have been to the Caribbean on Jan 3rd on a few occasions but wouldn't want to spend Christmas there. I want to be where my family are, preferably on a lovely cold, frosty, sun shining day. A friend and family are travelling to Lanzarote on Christmas Day. Definitely not for me. I really like Lanzarote but not on Christmas Day. This year it looks as if us in the south will have a chilly, sunny day with, the forecasters are saying, even a chance of sleet, suits me. Sorry Merv won't be able to listen to you, don't think I could tune in to your programme down near Southampton. One thing I remember about being in the Caribbean right at the beginning of January is on the journey from the airport to the ship in Barbados and seeing all the Christmas decorations on the houses, don't know why I should have been so surprised but I was, very like home.

How long before saying Christmas is banned. It will be ‘ Midwinter festival’ Tesco have already said ‘Pine tree’ and ‘Ice topped fruit cake’ with a small sprig of holly. Don’t want to offend our non Christian’s in our Christian country.!
