Had an MPW meal on Oceana many years ago - wasn’t impressed at all. 😩
I was taught to be cautious

We had an MPW dinner on Britannia where he, himself, personally at least oversaw the cooking and without doubt it was the best meal that I have had on any ship and was up there with some of the meals that I have had on land.

Extremely unlikely. More likely he lent his name to the venue. Maybe my palate is not cultured enough to appreciate veal in a soggy, greasy batter. I’ve had better from Tesco.
Nevertheless you should expect a good meal for the price they were charging and had we not been in the company of our table colleagues I would have complained.
