Is that a " Nope" that you don't want to cruise more or even again or a " Nope " to more P&O cruises

Not a New Years resolution but we have booked another since 1st January, so that is now 2 in 2026 and 3 in 2027 and none of these with P&O.

I see the latest P&O initiative is to offer 5 berth cabins on the 3 larger ships, how long before the '3rd,4th, and 5th passengers travel free' offers come along, with just the two principles paying their way and everyone else funding the meals for the others?

P.S. I wonder, do P&O read the responses to their postings, or just assume everyoen is on board with them?

With the horses I’ve been backing recently I’ll be lucky to get a weekend away in Weston-Super-Mare

Don't know if anyone is aware but today P&O launched a new offer up until March 3rd for all P&O past Passengers
They call it a "payday offer", giving past guests the opportunity to save up to £400 per cabin on all of their ships

Maybe they are noticing quite a few 'multi repeat' passengers with years of loyalty are not coming back.

They have only themselves to blame. They have courted a new and different clientele to the detriment of their loyal repeat passengers and diluted the brand. In our case it’s too late as we have found an alternative which provides a cruise more akin to what P&O was.

I think that I would need more than £400 per cabin to entice me back to P&O - sailing from Liverpool might just do it!

Spot on with this one, and from reading various posts on this forum I would suggest upwards of 50% of regular posters would agree, and a similar proportion of cruising friends who are or were with P & O. We (collectively) have of course been only a small proportion of their market.

I definitely agree with Foxy too. In addition to the fact that the P&O cruise today bears little resemblance to how it used to be it's a simple fact that as we, the repeat passengers are aging and require in some instances some sort of aid, whether it's just a walking stick or in my case a powered wheelchair, it's now so difficult to book a cruise. If I try booking when it first opens, maybe I might manage it but I as one gets older booking that far ahead isn't always easy. With all the evac chair problems it's being made more and more difficult. This isn't the case with all cruise lines though so people are moving to where they feel welcome. Just one point though, once on board using my powered chair the crew are wonderful and help in any way they can. It's the landside P&O set up that makes me feel unwelcome, which is because they don't want my custom anymore, although I didn't know this new payday offer, not that £400 would make it any easier for me to book a cruise.

Just got back from two weeks on Azura around the Canaries and I've got to say, we had a great time.

Sure, it's quite a different experience to how it was when we first started on Oriana, but to be fair, life has moved on quite a bit since those days.

Fly cruising seems to suit us these day, getting straight to the sun, which is what a winter holiday is really about (for us anyway)

We have two land holidays booked before our next cruise in May 2027 which is around the Adriatic and Italy.
That might be our last one, but we'll never say never.

We are going to Menorca in May and Lanzarote in November, both pretty expensive hotels. Both more expensive that doing a cruise.
So, a decision will be made after that.

The only thing for sure is that we don't want to be the richest people in the graveyard.
We've already told the kids, you can have the house .... but you ain't getting the money

By the way, Captain Alan Hawkins announced at the Peninsular party that P&O WILL be receiving a new ship and yes, it will be another mega ship.
He also told us that Aurora will be retained and will get a £20 million refit , for their more 'traditional guests' (guessing the death knell for Arcadia)
He also said that the old Oriana is returning to the Med. It has been bought by a Spanish company and will sail out of Barcelona in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter.
