We have worldwide annual cover anyway so it was a no brainer for us. Anyway I'm not sure what they'd think of our decrepitude when we made our medical declaration!

Feeling much better this morning. But don't mention that to the Compo people.

Well damn it. Just tested and it is Covid. Which means some b@stard carried it on board, didn't report symptoms, didn't isolate and spread it.

So what do we reckon? £10m compo?

And Fred Olsen is now my favourite cruise line.
Take solace in how many others you have inadvertently passed it on to Merv. 😂

Hopefully not many! As soon as I had what I thought was a cold, soon after arriving home, I was really careful and tested a.s.a.p. Now lazing around at home isolating responsibly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Baltic 14 day cruise with Spiritof Adventure. Just one fly in the ointment: Saga have internet policies which block a number of popular sites such as YouTube. All excursions were brilliant, food was good, we are very mobile and don’t need to use the lifts but we could see that less mobile travellers had to join some long queues particularly near to meal times.

Have done a Saga cruise once and loved it, and are off on another one in six weeks time. Never had any issues with the lifts, in fact most of the time they were empty . As for queues, never saw any.

Likewise. The only time we saw lifts busy was those immediately outside the theatre for a few minutes when the show finished. Cleared quickly.
