Re: Sun bed reserving
Not needed on here. Apart from round the pool they aren't used so never a problem.
More likely to find someones croaked it on a sunbed than reserving it.

Ironic that he and his family were searching for sun beds at 6am. Doesn't that tell us he's part of the problem?

You wouldn’t build a plane if it couldn’t accommodate the amount of passengers/holiday makers it was built for, therefore it is the hotel owners that should have got the fine. imo

Reading it it sounds like he was seeing if people were actually reserving at that time of the morning.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 07 May 2026, 09:56Ironic that he and his family were searching for sun beds at 6am. Doesn't that tell us he's part of the problem?
If the hotel stuck to their policy then the staff should go round removing the towels. And if guests kicked off then remind them it is clearly advertised about the practice. But as usual they never have the balls and so a blind eye is turned to keep the peace.

Re: Sun bed reserving
£6000 for two adults and two children - where were they staying, the Ritz? And because they couldn't find a sunbed at 6.00 in the morning they had to lie on the floor? It all sounds a bit far fetched and pathetic to me.
I don't really get why it's so important to get a sunbed next to the pool. It's the same sun wherever you are and the pool is never that far away. Am I misunderstanding something here?

I was taught to be cautious

In my, limited, experience any sunbed near the pool, ship or hotel, results in you getting wet either from those splashing about in the pool or bathers walking past dripping wet.

I would only ever use a sunbed next to the pool if it was next to an 18 year old (girl) preferably not with the name Brenda.
