Eurovision 2026
I would love to see this song win the Eurovision Song Contest but no doubt the anti-Israeli sentiment will scupper its chances…shame because it’s the best song by far in my book.

Re: Eurovision 2026
So to dive a bit deeper into the song....The song explores themes of unrequited love and memory. It tells the story of a person who is haunted by the presence of a former flame named Michelle. The lyrics paint a picture of "seeing her everywhere"—in the streets of Paris, in the crowds, and in the quiet moments of the night. It's a blend of romantic longing and the bittersweet realization that some people stay with you long after they are gone. Sung in Hewbrew, French & English but you knew that already
Seems like a well put together song.....but I can't see it being the winner
Maybe Onelife might change his mind about what's gonna win when he hears the French Entry...and yes we have translation

Does anyone like this one better ? Of course it is French and not sung in English so that will lose it a few points

The French song is in my top three and the UK in my bottom three.
Pompey, listen to the Israel song a couple more times and you’ll be thinking along the same lines as me…the more you listen the more you like.

Battleship grey with battle dress green overtones would look good in your bathroom. £25 a gallon each colour, night deliver only which is extra + travelling expenses. Can’t say fairer than that

£25 a Gallon? I’m left thinking Stephen thinks you’ve got a bigger shower room than me…how silly is that?Mervyn and Trish wrote: 12 May 2026, 16:16B&M can. Re: Eurovision 2026
This is more wishful thinking than a realistic outcome, but I did have £3 win at 14/1 on Israel winning the final
I’m working on the same principle as with the gee gees….I know what should win but often doesn't
First semi-final tonight 8pm BBC…Oh, and Stephen you can’t be washing your hair…you ain’t got any mate

I can't really be bothered with this Euro contest nowdays....that said I've looked at few of the songs and another one that stands out is the one with the guy singing and an extremely good classical violinist played with excellent vibrancy....the song is called Flamethrower and no it's not in English.
I'm sure you'll work out which one it is if you're interested

I didn’t think you liked backing favorites…Finland is odds on to win with Flamethrower. I wouldn't back against it winning...Oops! I already have...Come on IsraelPortsmouth wrote: 13 May 2026, 11:52I can't really be bothered with this Euro contest nowdays....that said I've looked at few of the songs and another one that stands out is the one with the guy singing and an extremely good classical violinist played with excellent vibrancy....the song is called Flamethrower and no it's not in English.
