I would imagine being pushed although no doubt all parties came to an acceptable and mutual agreement with Management and will probably pick a very nice redundancy package up

The report does say their positions will cease to exist and Quote:

"The new structure will see the creation of a marketing director role for each of the brands, with a new insight director covering both"

That is how Companies get around the redundancy rules they are not allowed to make someone redundant and then re-employ into that position ( or at least that is how it used to work ) so they create new jobs with different people probably making the same decisions.
