When we moved here from Uxbridge, we had to give the house a final quick clean before the march-out inspection, then leg it down the M4. When we got here, the removal men had already unpacked and were looking for someone to give the house key to! They don't hang about!! Hope it goes smoothly, and that you and Lady DK are happy in your new home.

Oi furball, my children are normally in tiptop condition! I was sitting here firing off an angry letter to the head about her hounding us for having the younger one off school for 8 days last October (tonsilitis requiring a hospital stay) when they phoned me to go and get my daughter. This is my 3rd attempt at the damn letter as the previous 2 were deleted as they were judged too sarcastic, although my 9 year old declared my paragraph about the time machine to be 'epic'.

My sympathy HK - being older we have grandchildren 2 of whom are 5 and 6 - even so t he attendance regime and attitude to illness would do justice to a SAS Bootcamp.

- Peter is not feeling well, and he will not be at work today. He is under the doctor.

- My daughter will miss school today. She seems to be pretty tired. She spent her holidays with the foot ball teams, and she walks right for some reason.

- Please excuse Tommy for being absent yesterday. He had diarrhea and his boots leak.

- Please excuse Gloria from Jim today. She is administrating.

- Please excuse Burma, she has been sick and under the doctor.

- Sally won´t be in school a week from Friday. We have to attend her funeral.

- I kept Billie home because she had to go Christmas shopping because I don´t know what size she wear.

- My daughter was absent yesterday because she was tired. She spent a weekend with the Marines.

- Maryann was absent December 11-16, because she had a fever, sore throat, headache and upset stomach. Her sister was also sick, fever and sore throat, her brother had a low grade fever and ached all over. I wasn´t the best either, sore throat and fever. There must be something going around, her father even got hot last night.

- Please excuse Lisa for being absent. She was sick and I had her shot.

- Please excuse Roland from PE for a few days. Yesterday he fell out of a tree and misplaced his hip.

- Carlos was absent yesterday because he was playing football. He was hurt in the growing part.

- Irving was absent yesterday because he missed his bust.

- Gloria was absent yesterday as she was having a gangover.

- Megan could not come to school today because she has been bothered by very close veins.

- Please excuse Jennifer for missing school yesterday. We forgot to get the Sunday paper off the porch, and when we found it Monday, we thought it was Sunday.
