P&O Cruise Personaliser

Unread post by Romig1 »

Anyone else having problems getting into their CP?

I keep getting a message which reads ""You're authentication token has expired. Value 19/01/2013 14:02:00 compared against 20/01/2013 14:44:34"

I was in there yesterday, but suspect I got logged out whilst in the CP.

Hi Romig we get that if we try to go in through your cruises twice in a 24 hour period. If you go through Cruise Personaliser ( below your user name) you will need your cruise reference but that works every time we try.

That's obviously the problem, Sue thanks.

I never have all my relevant information to hand, so always access CP via "Your Cruises"

I've always been able to get in via my cruises, apart from this weekend .... typical that the excursions are available to view now

The cruise you and Romig are doing sounds good - and would cover my birthday lol. Do you think I could do a countdown like you did at Christmas and get a bargain - or do you think, like at Christmas, it will get more expensive>>

Not too sure Lulu as it's a Food & Drink cruise, I don't know how popular it might be ... we paid the final balance this weekend so if they're going to do cheaper prices I presume it'll start soon :(

Lulu, apart from the food&drink aspect it's a fairly bog-standard W Med cruise on a large ship.

As Wina said, it will depend on how much extra popularity it gets due to the food&drink - but I would guess there will be some cheaper deals nearer departure.

Thanks both. I will keep my eye on it just in case. I am actively looking for something (as always) for my birthday. We missed out last year as I had just changed my job - but it is a perfect time for us for a holiday, so I'm on the lookout!!!!

I can't get into my cruise personaliser. It says that it does not recognise my booking reference, although I am not putting in a booking reference. Just going through My Cruises.

Hi ChrisB,

This is the email I got from Matt at P&O, it worked for me :)

We have passed this onto our systems team to investigate and will come back to you as soon as we can. In the meantime, could you try clearing your browsing cache and cookies, restarting your browser and trying again?

I can get into my Cruise Personaliser for our forthcoming cruise via Your Cruises, no problem. However, I am going with a friend who's never cruised before on Arcadia in June. When I click on the link via Your Cruises it tells me the Booking Reference is not recognised. However if I go in via Cruise Personaliser on the main page and then enter my booking reference it's fine and I get in ok!

I have phoned P & O and they told me to go to the home page. At the very top there is cruise personaliser, click on there and that takes you to a page where you have to put your name, date of birth and booking reference. I did this and it worked. I was previously trying to get in via my account and your cruises, as I have always done. But this does not work for me anymore.

The link that I provided earlier via ' Your Account ' is exactly the same one as the one marked ' Cruise Personaliser ' at the top of P&O's Home Page :?:

Just logged into my P&O account as wanted to check some things on the CP for my 2 upcoming P&O jaunts. Was able to get into my first one (sailing in May) without any problem but, tried to get into my CP for the second cruise and, according to the website, they cannot find the booking!! It does go on to say that it could be an error - it had better be as I want to know where my booking has gone otherwise!!

AM - as I said in my post above that's just what happened to me. Click on Cruise Personaliser at the top of the page then you will have to enter your name and booking reference and you will be in!

Well, I tried it - or at least I tried to try it but, on my phone, I couldn't get the years to scroll down towards my year old birth so was foiled for now!!

Will try again at home tomorrow!!

Got another question........ Where on the personaliser can you find your cabin details and dress code details? Was reluctant to go searching too deeply as I'm on the cruise with a friend and didn't want to inadvertently click and make us 'go green'!!

Hi, go into cruise Personaliser, choose travel documents ( this may already be highlighted) then Full itinerary view. You can then see all of your details.

I went onto my Cruise Personaliser last night and you know there is a list of things to do on the left hand side of the page and a green tick when you have done them? Well, the top one was Your Holiday Information which until recently did not have a tick. Last night that heading had disappeared. So I went into it via the link at the top and low and behold there were instructions as to what to do if you wanted to print out your information - in other words Go Green and print out all the info yourself.

I have avoided the Go Green option and did not click on anything. Then I went onto the P&O Can we Help section and found there that the Pre-Cruise Information should be sent out about 6 weeks before sailing (that will be 6 weeks today). Then going on a little I found out that it said if you can see the selection of things you can print for your e brochure, which I could, then you have "gone green" and you can't do anything about it. Sorry if this sounds complicated but I assumed because I no longer had the Your Holiday Information without a tick somehow I had gone green. There was a phone number to call if you wanted to query anything so I called this morning and the very helpful girl said no all was fine and I hadn't registered to go green. She did say they had been having trouble with their website recently!

We do like having the Pre-Cruise booklet, useful on board to see the excursions we have booked. I dare say in time there won't be an option and everyone will have to have an E Brochure.
