Didn't get home on Friday until 2330, and that was only because I had to catch the last bus, after enjoying a bottle or two of El Vino Collapso with my best friend.

Saturday evening was spent with the Lady C, after she got home from work.

Last night, we were a bit later home from church than usual (I was in the worship band) and we didn't retire until after the late night news. Hardly slept, though, yet was still up at crack of sparrows to go to the office.

I find it totally unacceptable that you continue to harass me over my child's absence from school last October. As you are perfectly well aware, he had been hospitalised with sever tonsilitis.

If you continue your unjustified badgering, I will take the matter up with the Board of Governors.

I see that according to the BBC news, over 13,000 households in the UK still watch TV in black & white.

I suppose if you are severely colour blind, there is not much point in upgrading...... but as for the others........

I've just renewed my licence. Apparently you need a colour licence even if you have a b/w tele but watch recordings on it because the recorder records in colour. Allegedly.

I don't use one anymore. The picture quality is simply inadequate for a large screen TV and looks awful.
