Those were the days - cribbage, shove ha'penny, bar skittles! MY first trip to a pub was the Shoulder of Mutton in Bournemouth, playing shove ha'penny and downing my mate's pint of brown in one, to get rid of the taste of the G&T I'd just sipped.
