He brought it from home piecemeal and re-assembled it in his flat. I suspect some people may still tease him about it from time to time.

Car seat now delivered, think I'l keep the rest in one piece for now, hopefully will be a bit lighter on fuel now though

that reminds me of the keen photographer who was posted to Germany many years ago. He bought a very expensive camera and dismantled it, sending a piece home every week in his letter to his mother. When he came home on mid-tour leave, he re-assembled the camera and was chuffed to bits to think he'd got it back into the country without paying excise duty on it.

A week after he returned to base, a parcel arrived from his mother, with a note saying he'd forgotten his camera.....

You've missed nothing Batty boy, the place has been like an old fogeys' home with the boys all being lovely to each other and banging on about runner beans and milk of magnesia. I've been my usual lovely self and got only abuse for my troubles.
