P&O Cruise Collection brochure

Unread post by bassman67 »

I have just received the above in this morning's post and in it was an invitation to spend a day on a guided tour of any of the Fleet vessels. As one of the tour days for Oceana is 11th June (departure day for E313), and disembarkation for the visit is 14.15-14.30, is that likely to delay boarding for cruise passengers?

I just surprised with security in mind that they allow guided tours when there is so much activy on departure days.
Some one might be tempted to slip away from the group and stowaway! (or worse)

Out of interest as P&O say these visits are for new cruisers only, have you cruised with P&O before? :wtf:

I don't believe that this has been a problem in the past. Embarkation will be as normal

The disembarcation of day Pax is such --that I think it would not be possible for someone to stay on board !

John --I know quite a few regular cruisers --who have been inviyed to do a tour of a ship they have never been on before !!

I think that you will find that even for a day visit those attending will be "scanned" on and off the ship in the same way that passengers are - so they will know who is still on board.

David you are correct !! And you Get a plastic name tag to hang on to your Jacket, and that is handed back before you leave the ship --or was when I was there !!

Hi haveabeer, as you know we were on that cruise and you are quite right there were loads all over the ship and thanks for the company in the De-Vere it's just a shame we didn't cross paths while on the cruise
