Re: So which P&O regulars are missing?
Thanks also from me Manoverboard, I've been trying for a while to shrink my photo.
Lynda
PS although I did not post very often on the old P&O forum, when I did I was known as Gunn and my picture showed as a box of cupcakes. Changed my name on this site so that my husband David can post as well if he wants to.

I find it ironic that DtM started this thread and now he's gone missing.....

DTM is coming to the end of his sentence for lewd behaviour with an inflatable doll in a public place and may rejoin us at some point. Like most men, he is very vain, so keep telling him that your lives just aren't worth living without him etc.
Lules has won the euromillions and is travelling the world on her own 150ft yacht.
I think PTE must still be in shock about Palace joining the evil premiership so is lying down in a darkened room somewhere.
Has Flora ever posted on here?

You know when companies etc. contact you and say 'we haven't seen you using our site for a while' or 'we'd like to welcome you back' maybe David could send them an email in a similar vein ... or maybe not .....

Ray, Debs has been put in charge of the NHS as she is an excellent person and is far too busy to post on cruise forums.

I could swap his avatar to yours if it makes you feel any betterSilver_Shiney wrote:I find it ironic that DtM started this thread and now he's gone missing.....
People come and people go ... that's life and their reasons will seem valid enough at the time and maybe for always but ' The Menace ' knows where we are should he wish to return.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Good point Alan, but if I owned a forum I would definitely be wondering why people had come - and then gone.

MOB, is correct, people come and go for various reasons .. some valid, some silly ... they have absolutely no obligation to explain to the moderators or members of any forum why they make those decisions.

Of course there is no obligation to explain but if I was an owner, I would want as many members as possible and would be interested to know why people had left.

In some cases we do know, in others we don't ... in some cases the excuse genuine, in others it is made up ... in some cases it is justifiable, in others it probably isn't ... everybody has their reasons.
In all cases, as MOB says, they know where we are if they ever wish to join in again.

BTW, we have just broken through 700 members .. which isn't bad for a board that is only 6 months old.
The main challenge is to try to provide enough interesting subjects to get some of the lurkers to start posting and joining in the fun and information exchange.

To scousers, Northern Irish and Glaswegians it is £50 (it is a security deposit to cover possible damage .. refundable after 99 years)
To anybody else it is free
