Interesting. Anybody considering a World Cruise on Adonia in 2015 will be disappointed. What ships will be going, just Arcadia & Aurora?.

Very interesting, they just need to do roundtrips from Southampton ( my preference ) and they would certainly have my interest

Whilst the itineraries look good I am not sure that I would want to do a Transatlantic crossing on Adonia as we feel that she is too small for us.

Adoniq would not be our first choice but I really like some of those itineraries and 2015 is a special year for us

We have pre-registered for D502-as Caribbean members we can book on Monday 29th July.
Very happy memories of the Amazon on the old Arcadia in January 2003 with my late husband and mother.
It will be the first cruise on Adonia for me and my sister.

we are interested in the last one of these cruises, sailing back to Southampton. we have never flown out to a cruise before, is the plane chartered soley for P&O passengers? Presumably someone meets you from the plane and escorts you to the ship? How about luggage? On a cruise of this length we would normally take several cases each. do you know if it possible to put a couple of cases on at Southampton, or are we permitted to take extra baggage on the plane? If they were doing a couple of round trips of decent length incorporating these interesting places we would definitely book, it's the plane bit that is concerning us. Many thanks for any replies.

We booked one on Adonia for 2013 and were even more disappointed ... this is, of course, a replacement for the South America round trip.

We are happy enough with Adonia but most of the difficulty, and avoidable stress, that we have experienced on our World Segments thus far have been due to the inefficiencies of P&O's flight department.

If we booked one of these it would be via Heathrow on a BA Economy Plus flight rather than one of P&O's three Charter flights, partly for the extra luggage, and with added days in Barbados ... we would probably need however to arrange our own transfers via the Hotel.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Having read through the brochure I received from P&O, I am sorely tempted ... but I just can not get Julie convinced about Adonia ... she doesn't dislike the ship or anything like that, she just has a preference for much larger ships.
