I hear Lady D made the analogy with a chipolata rather than a steak but I get your drift

Hi Tinks, we had a lovely evening, thank you.The Tinker wrote:Happy Anniversary to the Shineys - hope you got her a nice coral or jade piece of jewellery.
Jade is rather oriental.... so we went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner.
Then I managed to connect the Lady C's phone to the hotel's wifi and the only email waiting for her was from her friend Coral.
Does that count?

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Thanks, DK!
Yes, Tinks, our paws are very sore! We first climbed Cardiac Hill (Marlborough Hill) to my office to drop our overnight bags off in Welshy's car, then down St Mike's Hill to Christmas Steps, over to Colston Hall, up to the top of Park Street, across to the scrag end of Clifton, down to the swing bridge, along the Floating Harbour, back over to Millennium Square, The Centre, Queen's Square, Broadmead, St Mary Redcliffe and back to Temple Meads to collect my bike. We are, to use a technical term, knackered.
We will, actually, be "collecting" the one at Paddington - we'd already booked to go to see the Herculaneum Exhibition at the British Museum in mid-August. My daughter and SIL will "collect" Bristol Airport for us, the others will have to do without our company!

Cropping a bit sporadic at the moment but they are just starting to get going. Loads of trusses - we just need them to start ripening in earnest. We have taken some of the lower leaves off to taht the sun can get at them

That doesn't sound good Scanner Man. Are they in pots or in the ground? Sounds like they could do with a good feed
Bit like me, I've had the tuna surprise but it has hardly filled a corner !
