I bet none of you knew that P&O's booking system is based in the States did you?

Could explain a lot of the IT problems that they have - if nothing else with time differences.

My son told me this over a year ago. It was someone called Godaddy I'm not sure about the spelling. They have now changed and the one they use is global with offices in the UK, US Australia etc. They use the UK server. He sent me the link.

A lot of international companies do the same, tax avoidance basically, the coaching operator that we favour is based in Geneva and all the prices are linked to the $US as at September of each year .... ish.

Was there not something about this on the old board ... I have vague memories of people concerned (for some reason) about their information being held outside of the UK
