Good morning all from Oriana, sailing through the Minches between the Outer Hebrides and the Inner ones/Scottish mainland. X315 has certainly been eventful; what with people falling on/from the gangway at Southampton, the tenders being banned from Dun laoghaire, and the ship having to leave and berth in Dublin, then the weather preventing us from docking at Thorshavn, so we berthed at Klaksvik instead, and finally having our return route changed to come back down the west of Scotland & the Irish Sea, rather than the North Sea as advertised. As for weather..... hot sunshine, strong winds (bitingly cold in Akureyri), thunderstorms with torrential rain, fog, normal rain, low cloud and murk; - you name it - we've had it: and the sea has varied from flat calm to a 5 metre swell!

Ah well, variety is the spice of life - so they say!

I'll give you a fuller report Monday or Tuesday night

Sounds like a bit of fun AM - look forward to hearing all about it next week. Shame about Dun "Leary" - we had a really nice afternoon there - they even piped us ashore. Who has upset them then ?
