Re: Webcams
There's a reply there now saying they will get their team to have a look at it.
Would be good to see them working properly again.

Re: Webcams
Thanks Michele. That doesn't sound at all good - they were going to get "their team" to have a look at the old forum over a year ago ...... and now look at it (or not, as the case may be) !

He could even have the sparkly shoes to match. The dress might be a step to far

It's a right lash-up now - they even have the same images on as yesterday

....and on average almost half of them are "currently unavailable due to satellite strength" - a problem which also afflicts Cunard ships, but rarely those of other lines. It also takes some believing at times, e.g. when two P&O ships are moored almost alongside one another, yet one has a working webcam, and the other doesn't.

Would you by any chance be referring to P&O's IT chappies/chapesses by any chance?qbman1 wrote:It doesn't get any better - what are they messing at. Surely it can't be that difficult ?!

Do P&O actually realise, or even care, that their IT people are a complete laughing stock ?!

Re: Webcams
Well, it bothers me. I can't believe that there is any other sizeable company in the world that is trying to run a business with a website that cannot do what it says on the tin. How difficult is it, for God's sake ?!

Re: Webcams
Obviously it is very difficult for God's sake - but for a reasonably competent IT technician not that difficult I would have thought.qbman1 wrote:How difficult is it, for God's sake ?!
In fairness to P&O I believe that the webcam connection is outsourced and not in-house.

Re: Webcams
If it were only the webcams I wouldn't be too bothered. I can't log into my account, all I get are blank looks from the web page. If I click on 'forgotten password' all I get is a box with a perpetual Catherine wheel. I tried telephoning and they said they would reset it. I'll give them a couple of days and try again.
