Yep - you certainly knew the schools were back today - and just managed to get the last space in the car park which was virtually empty on Monday

Thankfully, I don't have that problem, apart from it being a private car park, there's a garage attached in which I park my scooter. The traffic was wose yesterday but I was able to get to the office in the same time - 30 minutes

Nearly 300 miles the past 2 nights plus another 100 to and from work. Don't know how you door-to-door johnnies manage it

Nearly 900 miles in 3 days
the trick, lots of good CD's and frequent stops for refreshments

It's a bit of a job to stop when you are trying to transport a load of fresh flowers in 80 degree heat and are on a tight deadline (from leaving work to getting to the venue in time to set up). To make matters worse, the air con in my motor is buggered again I s'pose the stress factor adds to the next-day tiredness. Only one more long haul this year. All the rest are within about an hour of home.

No, but I've got to get myself up for tarting up me 'taters, pumpkins, dahlias and stuff for a flower and veg show at the weekend and I have to be on top form for Xmaslisa next week don't I ?!
