Ours was really good value too - £116 for the two of us but a bottle of Pinot Grigio accounted for £34 of that so you can't argue with the cost of the noshDark Knight wrote:QB
It was great, the place was really nice, food was very tasty and not ,massively expensive
£100 for 2 , I was driving, so that kept the bill down, as Lady D only had 2 or 3 glasses of wine
will be going back in the near future, that is for sure
for a michelin it was surprisingly cheap??

Re: Last One to Post Wins
A suitable response from a wine guru, else Wiki, would possibly be ...
" Pinot gris (also known as Pinot grigio) is a white wine grape variety of the species Vitis vinifera. Thought to be a mutant clone of the Pinot noir grape, it normally has a grayish-blue fruit, accounting for its name (gris meaning "grey" in French) but the grape can have a brownish pink to black and even white appearance. The word pinot, which comes from the word meaning "pine cone" in French,[1] could have been given to it because the grapes grow in small pine cone-shaped clusters. The wines produced from this grape also vary in colour from a deep golden yellow to copper and even a light shade of pink,[2] and it is one of the more popular grapes for orange wine. The clone of Pinot gris grown in Italy is known as Pinot grigio. "
I do hope that makes it seem like it's worth 34 quid a bottle !!!

Sounds like a bargain when you put it like that. You can still get exactly the same bottle for about £8 in Tesco though !

Please don't address the fine fellow Moby, who is going to invite me to the naming of the MV Mobietta, in that disrepectful way. It wasn't you who hacked my account and called him an old fool, was it?
I was talking to HK......

Mind you, it's not as grand as it sounds, it was only a local village show

It's a stressful business, reading the paper, mowing the lawn and jousting on here with you lot, especially that skiver, the Bat. If his boss knew that "multitasking" included hanging about here he'd find him some more proper work to do. Especially now he's getting a new bra.

You've got the old bat down to a tee Mervyn. All he does is stuff his face, play on the computer and drive to different hotels to watch the porn channels.

There he goes, multitasking again. Is it any surprise the baubles he sells when he is working are so expensive? Covering the costs for all these hours "multitasking" on here.
