Batty was furious when he phoned this morning. He was constructing the Batmobile out of lego when one of the dogs jumped on him and there's a threer stuck up his nose so he's off to A & E. He's like a big kid.

Neither, just comparing notes. HK told me he was auditioning for the lead role in a new film. I forget the name, but it was something like
"A Brummy Werewolf in Yorkshire.

Anyhow, I thought you were going to be away all day. HK wants sombody to play with, but she'd never survive this far north, so will have to make do with someone in the home counties.

Rather you than me. Birmingham is the only place in the UK where I have met another british person, and we couldn't understand each other.

What's the difference between a brummie and a Jumbo Jet?
A Jumbo Jet stops whining when it lands in Malaga.

Don't tell the bat that, he's a bit touchy about his brummie roots.

I've heard from several folk on the forum that she's being transferred to the Australian fleet in 2015

At least your tat is selling. Visitors to our little bookstall buy the books but rarely touch the keyrings and pens. Mind you, having said that, a Korean guy last year bought 50 keyrings in one go. Once they're gone, they're gone, we aren't restocking

Perhaps HK could supply you with some of her guardian angels to sell - if you put from the IOW most people will buy anything.

Can I just add that your bookstall does not look very appealing from your photo - I think you need to update it/jazz it up a bit :!:

That's an old photo - the grandfather clock has been moved into another room for a start. Space is our main consideration, that's about the only place we can put it. It does need to go on another table though, but I don't think it's worth buying proper display racking as we are running the bookstall down to just a couple of titles.

What you all need are a few spectacular flower arrangements to spice up your displays. Now, I know just the person to supply them......!

Ah. Not heard that one, but wouldn't be surprised. For various reasons I suspected that if any ship were to leave when Canberra arrives it would be Oceana. I know she has some big fans, including you by the sound of it, but she's not among my favourites (though if the price is right......) ;)
