I couldn't believe when I joined the Civil Service that someone was employed simply to read the newspapers. I won't say which Department it was but in one, the man (of course) who's job it was generally finished his 'work' by midday and literally had the afternoon doing nothing. Nice work if you can get it. :crazy: I'm sure things have changed now.
Emjay, I'm sure there are organisations who do employ someone to check if there is anything in print that is adverse or damaging that they need to be aware of. Not sure P&O would do that though.
