Pack a parachute, and bale out as you cross the coat coming back. One of those steerable ones should get you home quite nicely. Alternatively you could always drop in on AOTH for your tea.

You either get a lift, or you go by train or National Express TO the airport. Should be simple compared with the sky diving bit!
