I'm locking up early, need time to get the face made up to look less swollen before our friends come round for dinner. Paul is cooking a Chinese feast, which I have no chance of eating I suppose I can sit there, be sociable and drink lots of wine though

On a serious note though the dentist and alcohol do not mix. I went and had a filling and then attended a colleagues retirement lunch. One glass of wine and I was out cold on the floor - at least they let me go home early and I had plenty of bruises!
