and you mentioned the Wurzles no less than 3 times. Bristle isn't in Somerset, and although they claim Tommy Banner comes from 'North Somerset', that's something of a euphemism, as from his accent he is most definitely a Scot!

I confess that I don't know the connection of Herr Müller, but I am aware of the contribution of Herr Reichsmarschall Göring.
Fred Wedlock used to say that when he was born, the first phase of the Bristle urban redevelopment plan was being carried out - by the Luftwaffe!

Brunel may have had some connection with Bristol, as the Clifton Suspension Bridge was built largely to his design, as was the SS Gt Britain, and the Gt Western Railway passed through Bristol - but that's about it.

Like me, he was born in Portsmouth, but his father was French, (nobody's perfect) and he was educated in Hove (Sussex) and then in France. For most of his adult life, his home was in London.
