That's because being of the older persuasion and now retired I don't have as much spare time as you youthful shirkers..... oops sorry, multitaskers.

M & T - spot on - he's a "homeworker" doncha know (think he's making P&O calendars for us Goldies
) but I reckon he's skiving off to be on here all the time
Wait for him to deny it - I feel it coming

Jan, he's only a homeworker during the week. Saturdays he flogs his Tupperware door to door.

Batty suggested Chicken Run which is a great idea. I was going to make them watch Titanic.

I'm sure any phrase which includes the words "Batty" (or any of his other aliases) and "worker" (or any related term) is what those who understand English grammar call an oxymoron!
Mind you I'm prepared to forgive him if he can do me a good price on some new kitchenware.

He's a charmer isn't he? I have respect for old folk, even the ones who throw up on my table during Christmas dinner

There's always the 2009 film "Mad City Chickens". I think Batty would approve of this one too!

There's no real reason to get up early any other day, unless it is our Saturday for blocking up the supermarket aisles duty.

Merv
I completely understand the plight of the old
they stay in bed all day, to save on the heating
they go to the supermarket for company, a bit like a drop in centre
they move slowly so as not to burn up calories they cannot afford to replace
poor buggers

Batty, you'll be a pensioner one day (if I don't bump into you first).

despite what others may think I am not blind to the problems the old spongers have
I just wish they would have them someplace else, like a community on the Shetland isles or a large communal home in oh say the Arctic

I am not picking on the oldies, just pointing out a few salient facts about the old buggers

Shiny, I worry about you and Notso. Yes, I will be bringing Gordon and Primrose inside but we won't be watching a DVD! Downton's on
