Good Morning dear, I hope you have everything well anchored down. I thought you - and all the others down south - would like to know that here in the bleak north, it is dull and damp and an absolute calm. The trees are showing no movement whatever!

Good morning all. I hope those of you in the path of the storm had an uneventful night.

It's blustery here, probably best not to go into the office today - don't fancy riding a moped in this. Still, without the phone ringing and museum visitors, I should be able to clear most, if not all, of the backlog of work. Remote access is a wonderful invention!

You home workers have got it easy

my husband used to work from home - couple of yards across the landing to his office - no worries about storms etc.

T'internet is a wonderful invention

barely a rain drop now
cant see what all the fuss was about personally
we are truly hopeless in the Uk , a bit of weather and you would think it was the end of the world
other countries manage far better than we do , with much more extreme weather

we are a nation of wimps
