Email address for P&O

Unread post by mrsbsw »

Can anyone provide me with an email address to write to concerning the current chaotic pricing policy
I have been out of touch for a while and only just realised that some people have been successful in getting extra onboard credit on already booked cruises after the promotion which ended on Feb 28th.

I think I foolishly thought that they would add extra OBC to my existing bookings for the 2 cruises we have with them but have heard nothing. I think they need a new slogan "No one annoys you like P&O"

I am not usually so naive so I would like to make contact to ask the question.

Thanks for any help you can offer

Ann

Not sure if this is right but they should pass any email to the correct department for you.

community@pocruises.com.

I think the correct e-mail is reservations@pocruises.com as I remember the community one related to the old defunct forum.

You are probably right John, I picked that one up from the P&O fb page, they seem to frequently tell people to mail them at that address and 'they will look into it' not many seem to get an answer though so reservations are more likely to be a better bet

Sorry admin, didn't mean to break the rules.

Another contact no. for those who dial the 0843 lines and pay at local rate is 0845 6780014 which is free and gives you multiple options.

0845 numbers are not free.

The number quoted above resolves to 023 8065 5000

I've never had to pay on the P&O 0845 whereas on 0843 I have paid (maybe it's my anytime call plan?)

It varies from provider to provider. Have a look at this if you get a minute

Thank you all for your help. I knew I could rely on you all to come up with the information.

I think I will try the loyalty address 1st as I suppose this is the basis of my concern, as in loyalty not being rewarded ( in my opinion)
I Will let you know how I get on

We got a good very increase on obc on three different cruise, not all ours(!) by actually phoning P&O, they checked our booking terms and increased the amount as there had been a change on the obc being offered as an incentive to book. Apparently it is not automatically applied to existing 'Select' bookings, something which I feel should be clearly stated in the terms which say you are will be given extra obc or an upgrade, we assumed that any 'credit' would be automatically applied. To be honest I am not sure I could be bothered do it a second time if prices change again as it involves cancelling your existing booking and rebooking with the possibility you might lose the cabin you are booked in, now that flights etc are confirmed and our spa package has been paid for it seems a massive hassle! P&O were actually very helpful.

I fail to see why a booking has to be cancelled and then rebooked maybe it's just P&O wanting to make it a hassle for people so they won't bother  you would think it would be easy enough to amend an OBC amount or just show an addition to it, does this mean if an error was made at the time of booking (for eg you hit the wrong key when imputing your DOB and didn't notice until later) you would have to rebook, I wouldn't imagine so, so if one thing can be altered why not another !!

Dancing Queen - I totally agree, I was flabbergasted when the lady said the bookings had to be cancelled and redone. I fail to see what the problem is in pressing a button and adjusting obc! As you say, probably just to make it a pain.
