Just got back from shopping at Asda. You have to keep your wits about you because of their weird pricing structure.

For instance, they had twin 350g packs of Cathedral City cheese on 'Roll back': - normal price £6.80, now at £5.00.
A good deal? Well, not exactly, as the single 350g packs of Cathedral City were selling at a 'normal' price (i.e.not advertised as a special offer) of £2.00 each!

I suppose it must make sense to somebody.............!

Had the same experience in Tesco's the other day Notso - Twinings English Breakfast tea bags £3 for 80 or bargain 160 for £6.80 - sorry but how many people are taken in by this sort of marketing - you know us OAPs have to watch the pennies :lolno:
