No, but you must admit the wooden acting, and rather less rigid sets, made it one of the best sit coms of its time.

Tis time to confess that we did actually watch one soap but only for a little while ... BUT ... the reason was because we had a colour TV and the only colour program that we could receive at that time came from the Anglian Region when they transmitted Crossroads. East Midlands were all Black 'n' White.
