We were there in August on Venture, and had a late departure, something like 23.00. The ship had to reverse down to the end of the mole before we could head out to sea.

So did I barney. It maybe just a one off.

Not particularly looking forward to it but needs must or we’ll just keep on going to the same old places. Fortunately the flight is only three hours……plus ten at the airport no doubt, so I’ll suffer it ;)

We are quite fortunate in that we fly from Bristol which isn’t huge and touch wood, no major problems …. Yet !

Exeter is a great little airport. We’ve done a few land holidays from there.

Will be on her with the family next August. Were still waiting for P&O to name our departure airport as we boarded Ambiance, normally we are told at the booking stage. Will see if T/A has an update when we arrive home.

I'm hoping Stansted will be one of the airports which be ideal as its only 45 minutes from us.
