OBC for Drinks

Unread post by DenisPC9 »

This has probably been hashed to death but a cursory search here and on Cunard's site doesn't give too much detail.

Can the Onboard Credit be used for the sundry and random drinks in the Bars and Cafes?

Thanks
Denis

Your OBC will be offset against any on board expenditure until it's finished, everything after that will be charged to your final account.

If I remember correctly the only thing you can't use OBC for is gambling in the casino.

I can't add anything to the replies given as they are all good. Which Cunard ship are you going to cruise with ?

The medical centre and art gallery are another two. Also you cannot withdraw OBC as cash.

Thanks everyone.

And for those who asked and/or wondered, We are travelling on QE "looking" at Australia's coastline, the southeast corner. Basically what the lower orders call a "Booze Cruise". :relaxed:

Cunard are pulling out of Australia, there's more loot in North America. As from some time in 2025 all we will get are add-ons on Cruises that originate elsewhere.

Cunard are certainly a "class" up from the first Cruise Line I went on. That was the Fedor Shalyapin (from memory) in 1974 from Hong Kong to Nakhodka (couldn't berth in Vladivostok back then at it was a USSR Naval Base) via Yokohama. The Plumbing was such that I was surprised we weren't told to bring out our toiletpaper!

Hah, I just google the:

"Fedor Shalyapin (1955 – 2004) Far Eastern Shipping Cy.

Fedor Shalyapin, 21,406 GRT, loa 185m, 929 passengers. Built as Ivernia in 1955 for Cunard Line for service on the transatlantic run."

Cunard had certainly lifted it game since then.
