Is there an excursion that ends back at the tender and doesn't require a ride on the cable car from Fira? I'm reading about nightmares getting back to the ship via the cable car. We will be in Santorini June 14 aboard Majestic Princess.

Welcome Kimblesue. We did an excursion in May,off Azura,which did the return to the tender. Princess will probably do one.?

No signs of it happening anytime soon....
Regarding getting back to the ship .....give yourself plenty of time if you're worried about the queues.
You can walk down the steps the donkeys use and it will take about 30 minutes ....so google says
Try to avoid the donkey poo if you can and be careful you don't slip if you decide to use the steps.

From what I hard from a friend of ours you need to be pretty fit to manage the stairs, especially when it’s very hot. He said by the time he had navigated back down the stairs he was exhausted.
