I hope not we saw a US aircraft carrier off Egypt on the corresponding cruise last year.
Watching two guys throwing large box fireworks off the roof of an Alexandrian office block from the safety of a sun lounger was an interesting interlude on our J216 cruise.
But hey ho P&O would not take you into a war zone would they !!!

Well, the packing has now officially commenced. Had a quick look the forecast for embarkation, 14 and scattered showers. Not too bad for the time of year.
