MINI CRUISE R314 Blankenberge
For any of you on the Mini cruise R314 I wonder if you saw the article about Blankenberge in the Daily Telegraph yesterday.
It seems that on the day we dock at Zeebrugge Monday 2nd September' The Sand Sculpture Festival' will still be on in Blankenberge. I understand it is quite spectacular. It is built on the King Albert 1-Laan and is within walking distance of the shuttle bus stop and Blankenberge station.
Opens at 10 am and entry prices are as follows:-
Children under 3 Free
Children 4-12 9 euros
Students, 60 plus
Physically challenged 11 euros
Adults 13 euros
Also Grote Markt is held every Monday during the summer where you will find everything from seafood and chocolates to lace
and accessories.
This is also within walking distance , somewhere off the main shopping street.
Having done several mini cruises with stops at Zeebrugge we have been on all the organised tours so think the above options will make a nice change.
