Log in to P & O Account
Since before we went on a recent cruise - I've been unable to login to my account on P & O website (other than directly into Cruise Personaliser).
I've tried clicking on "forgotten password" to no avail. Also I tried to register a new account, using my Peninsular number - no success.
Any suggestions - apart from a costly phone call to P & O customer services?
Thanks
Jill

Re: Log in to P & O Account
Hi Jill, I have had the same problem and I can't get into the cruise personaliser either - it just says web page not available. I have been blaming the fact on using a Nexus as I spilt tea over our laptop and it can't be repaired. The insurance company have sent us a voucher to get another so I'm hoping to get one this week, if not I will have to hope PO will accept our booking invoice when we go on our cruise shortly as I haven't run off the tickets yet. Hopefully someone can advise us if it is a general problem affecting everyone.

Hi Jill and Kenmo
Bob puts it far better than me but it appears it could be the compatibility mode, if you don't know what this is, when you go to the P&O site on the address bar there is a symbol that looks like a torn sheet of paper, click on this and then log in, it worked for me and Bob too by the sound of it.

Thanks for the replies.
Just tried again - & it worked! I went straight in - I think the password that worked was the new one I'd set when I re-registered, using my Peninsular number.

You only get this icon if your browser thinks that it might help. I had to access my settings from Tools -> developer tools -> browser mode. You can get there direct by F12 -> Alt-BDancing Queen wrote:Hi Jill and Kenmo

Thanks Bob for the tech details! I spent a few minutes without success looking for a torn bit of paper icon!

Re: Log in to P & O Account
Hooray, hooray, hooray - we have a new computer, one that my atrocious eyesight can cope with. Only problem is I have to get my head round windows 8 but the most important thing is that I was able to get into the cruise personaliser by going through 'Your account'. We won't know our cabin number for a couple of days but I thought it safer to print off the tickets as they are and then we will write the cabin number in once we are advised. I also printed off the luggage labels to be on the safe side and it looks like we will be on G deck, not E deck obstructed as booked. It just says the deck but not a cabin number at present. I just hope it isn't the cabins right up front as I felt seasick on Aurora up front - still beggars can't be choosers.
Thanks for the replies and advice. Mo

I am in the same boat (if you know what I mean!!). As yet my cabin is still to be assigned but I have had a look at the luggage labels and mine also have a G at the bottom. However unless they are putting balcony cabins below the water line I think it's just a generic label. Certainly there are no balcony cabins on G deck so I think you may find your cabin will be elsewhere. No idea what the G means unless it stands for 'Guaranteed'.

We too are guaranteed. We are just over 5 weeks away so any time after the weekend I can start to get excited.

Well that's taken the shine off today - I thought we had been upgraded and got all excited. Never mind, I guess I can still hope for a balcony ! Should hear on Wednesday what the cabin number is as that will leave exactly 2 weeks to go.oldbluefox wrote:I am in the same boat (if you know what I mean!!). G deck on Aurora is the Granada deck which is where the medical centre is located. There is also one lower, the Himalaya deck which is where you jump onto the tenders.Manoverboard wrote:There isn't a ' G ' deck on Adonia ... or Aurora ... or Azura ... or Oceana ... or Oriana ... or Ventura

Fairy snuff but I had assumed that Foxy and chums would prefer to be in a passenger cabin rather than on the couch or in a tender.Quizzical Bob wrote:G deck on Aurora is the Granada deck which is where the medical centre is located. The excitement begins! I received an email this morning telling me that my e-tickets and luggage labels were ready! Yup, you guessed it, G deck. There are actually cabins on G deck on Arcadia but not in our grade. I shall have to temper my excitement and save it for another day.Quizzical Bob wrote:We too are guaranteed. Just had notification that we have cabin G60 so G for us is the deck and not guarantee or getaway. Pleased with that because it is low and midships so hopefully won't feel so queasy as last cruise in rough weather. Now I will start getting organised.

Well done, looks like you've got an upgrade if you'd booked an obstructed outside ... will be handy for receptionKenmo1 wrote:Just had notification that we have cabin G60 so G for us is the deck and not guarantee or getaway. Thanks, Wina. I'm very pleased, especially as for the price we paid we could have got a balcony if we had waited to book but this one will do nicely for me. Mind you, all Ken can think about are the number of stairs I will be nagging him into using to get up on deck. Not wishing to burst the bubble but C60 ' seems ' to have interconnecting doors with C62 so best you keep the activity levels low key on this cruise.Kenmo1 wrote:Just had notification that we have cabin G60 so G for us is the deck and not guarantee or getaway.
