Any tips for using it before I give it a try out ? Thanks

Read the instructions and then decide if you need any of their extras / cleaning fluids for best results.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

I make my own with washing up liquid, works fine in an old spray bottle, put about 1/2 inch of liquid in bottle and top it up with water. Top up the water, when there is about a third left in bottle, about 3 times before adding more liquid.

It came with a sample...but was interested in feedback... Could be everybody thinks the karcher stuff is amazing...or just a sales ploy....Manoverboard wrote:Read the instructions and then decide if you need any of their extras / cleaning fluids for best results.

My concern was the vacuum bit so foaming liquid is fine . Thanks. Mind you watch out with washing up liquid some has lanolin in it to make your hands soft!

I use half white vinegar and half water then add just a little washing up liquid.

Thats the joy of the Karcher, although some may use washing up liquid mixture as a cleaning liquid, no need to get any on your hands, or even get your hands wet.Southwinds wrote:My concern was the vacuum bit so foaming liquid is fine . I also think the Karcher is great.

Great feed back, it's thanks to you kind folk who spoke so highly of the Karcher window cleaner that I brought one.who knew how good it was....now just getting th hang of it. I was concerned about the bubbles as with the carpet shampoo machines that vacuum up the liquid it has to be low foam . I wondered if the Karcher was the same , clearly not... Thanks.

Washing up liquid in a bowl for me, applied with a long-handled microfibre cleaner. The Karcher is absolutely superb; I can clean the windows in half the time it would normally take me and they are streak free.
I was taught to be cautious

Washing up liquid for me also. I eventually bought the applicator but I can't get on with it.
Remember that you can purchase a smaller blade - which I find fantastic. It is not as heavy to use and a blessing on smaller wndows, ie opening lights.

Can anyone tell me the width of the smaller of the two Karcher blades? We have some small-paned windows and I wondered if the smaller attachment would be small enough to clean those - if you see what I mean. Everyone sounds most enthusiastic about this cleaner so may consider buying one if it's suitable for our windows.

Re: karcher window cleaner
Jean and Wina, thank you very much for that. Our smallest pane is just over 7" so no problem there - and I hadn't thought of turning the thing horizontally as the panes are obviously longer than they are wide. Now just have to look for a good price!
