India & Nepal Tour 2015

We have just booked this tour with Riviera Travel, the company we did California & The Golden West tour with last year

Unlike David's trip ours is a group tour & it sounds very hectic with a few pre-dawn starts but then it's trying to get as much as possible into 2 weeks, one of the highlights of the tour will be seeing Mount Everest & the Himalayas from a 16 seater plane

Hopefully we'll be able to get some tips about Indian Visa from David seeing as he's going this year

Wina, we always felt we saw so much more when we went on organised trips with these touring companies. Like you, we had some early starts but everyday we packed so much into the day.

Enjoy your foodie trip at Easter. Tell Rob he has just got to learn to say those magic words 'No, thank you' when offered 2nd/3rd helpings.

Been in touch with Riviera Travel this week to ask about changing our tour to the exact same one going the week before (HTFC fixture list is now out & would mean R was only missing 1 home game instead of 3 with the original tour dates), they changed it without any problem & although the website says £15pp for amendments there wasn't any charge .... how's that for customer service

Had to pay £15 to change the single trip travel insurance policy though

Doesn't time fly, one week tomorrow & we'll be off

Our daughters leave for India on March 1st and we are very envious as we only had a short stay there.

The biggest problem for us, in 2011/12, was that we had been to so many different Countries in the previous ten years and although we could obviously work out our approx dates of travel there were far too many passport stamps that we couldn't read / work out etc ... hence we had to have it all sorted out by a Professional Agency.

We thought that we would have that problem too, but the relevant box only let us enter the first 10 or so countries. Having said that, Wina has a spreadsheet showing where we went each year (even down to weekends away), going back about 10 years or so!
